It's been a while but I have quite a few more products that I've been needing to review, but my life has been hectic!!! Some of these products I have really liked and others I have really hated!
The first product I have is Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation (£10.99 from Boots). I bought this foundation as it claims to be anti-redness, anti-dull and anti-dark circles. I have always battled with the redness of my face as I inherited rosacea from my mum and I always end up with a red nose and cheeks by the end of the day! I also wanted something to counteract any red spots I may have at the time!
I bought this in shade 53, light beige. There wasn't a massive range of colours on offer, however this is the perfect colour for me! I have previously owned the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel and got on fairly well with that so thought I would try this one at it seemed more suited to my needs. I found this foundation was very build able, however, the more I put on, the more dry and powdery my face looked. I really enjoyed that I could build this foundation in areas where I felt I needed it, such as my nose and cheeks, without it changing colour and found it easy to blend. The pump is excellent and provides just the right amount of foundation for sheer to medium coverage on your whole face. I didn't find that it lasted 16 hours as it claims to do, but have found no foundation that can do this anyway! It lasted well with my primer but I think that has more to do with my primer than this foundation! I still feel like the hunt is on for the perfect foundation, but would repurchase this to have in for a very casual day where I wouldn't want to use any expensive foundation that I own!
I also bought the Mineral Radiance Pressed Powder from Bourjois. I always use a powder over my foundation as I quite often find that my foundation looks streaky or my skin gets greasy really quickly. I love to use powders over my make-up to set it and put off this oily-ness for as long as possible! However, I would not recommend this powder to anyone. While this powder is very well pigmented, every shade of it seems to have a very orange tone to it. There was no way for this powder not to make me look like a tangerine! In the store this powder looked the right colour, but it makes me so fluorescent! In the photo at the bottom of this post I am wearing this powder and you can see how orange I look!
Although I have not been impressed with the actual product, the packaging is good, with the little mirror and little pad. But packaging is not enough to make me repurchase a product! haha!
This month I bought Cosmopolitan magazine as it came with a free trial of a toothpaste and as a student I need as many freebies as I can get! It also came with a Missguided Lipsplash in Fashion. I can't find this colour on the website but other colours are £5.00 from www.missguided.co.uk. Even through I got this product free, I don't think I will be using it. It is far too dark a colour for me, but that's personal preference. The colour is very violet, although the pictures don't really show this. It has a very blue shine where the light catches it, which I am impressed by.

I don't like the texture of this product very much either, I know it's a lipgloss but it is very very sticky and thick. This made it hard to apply the product evenly and as it is a darker colour, this is crucial! I would not repurchase this product!
I actually think I'm going to split this into two posts because it would be like an essay! I will try and upload the next one tomorrow :)
THanks for following my blog! WOuld love to follow back on GFC but I don't see it on your page :(
