So I've finally gotten round to uploading the rest of my beauty haul! :) Sorry it's so late!
VO5 Give Me Texture Instant Oomph Powder (£4.07 from Boots) is a little beauty of a product. The bottle is tiny, only the size of one of my fingers, but as the phrase goes 'the best things come in small packages'! This is a great little volumizing powder, it was one of the cheaper ones, as with all VO5 products. I always love the pretty pink packaging of VO5 products!
Talking about packaging, this bottle has a tiny little hole at the top to prevent too much powder coming out at once, which is very useful! I sometimes have to use more powder than I would like, as i do like my hair to be very textured! It does also leave a sticky residue, but I don't think it's possible to have a product like this without feeling slightly sticky. If there is one out there then please let me know!!

I do feel like I get my money's worth. As you can see from the photos above, the product increases in size when you shake it up before you use it, as the instructions tell you to do. It does shrink down quickly though so you either have to use it really fast or keep shaking it!
The next two products I always use together so it will be hard to review them individually. I always battle my painfully frizzy hair, someone please tell me how to tame the frizz!
I have always trusted John Frieda Frizz-Ease as a brand but normally find their products are too expensive. However, when I went on the search for a suitable smoothing créme I came across this for only £5 from Asda and I was very excited. It was the cheapest one in the shop. I was put off the packaging as I enjoy something slightly more feminine and girly! But I am happy with the actual product! It doesn't seem to hold up very well in the rain, but I have to experiment some more to find out the right amount to use!
I'm sure you can tell by now that I love VO5 products! This is the VO5 High Volume Extra Strong Hold Weather Resistant Hairspray (phew!) (£3.05 from Boots). The hold on this is definitely not what I would class as strong hold. This is great for me as I don't actually use hairspray to hold a style, I just use it to give volume and hold my straightening. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who wants to hold a style in place! it doesn't leave my hair crispy and does add volume so am loving this product so far!
